This research describes bilingualism from the compound, coordinate and sub-coordinate point of view. I emphasizes how the child acquires different notions in different languages and the phases he/she goes through. It also points out the difference between acquisition and learning, between spontaneous and formal learning. and also the various stages belonging to pronunciation.
